How to start sea kayaking?
East Coast of Scotland provides superb places to try paddle sports. Sea kayaking for many feels a very tricky activity to start. Besides good locations we have several good providers in the area who can help you with the first steps.
There are small groups, coaching events regularly advertised by Outdoor Explore and East Neuk Outdoors or Granite Adventures. These are aimed at new people to the sport, joining a small group, allowing you to try and improve the skills.
If you can't make any of the dates or you wish to tailor it to your specific aims, you can always request bespoke coach session. This might feel more expensive but you will receive all the attention and support you need to become a skilled paddler as soon as possible.
Besides the technical skills, experience in various crafts and locations there are other elements worth practicing such us rescue skills, planning, weather...
